The benefits of stakeholder consultations include developing acceptance and trust amongst the stakeholders; developing a sense of ownership and a reduction of disputes amongst the stakeholders (Rixon et al, 2007;Cleaver, 1999). Since the project was meant to serve the general public and especially the disadvantaged community, that made them primary stakeholders of high importance in the project.…”
