Perspectives on Surgical Management of Neuroendocrine Liver Metastases

Abstract: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) commonly metastasize to the liver. Different treatments are available for the management of metastatic NETs. Both primary tumor and metastases can significantly affect the patients' quality of life and overall survival (OS). Surgical resection is the only chance for cure and should be considered for every patient.
