La regulación urbana normativa es una regulación técnica e higiénica que se refiere esencialmente a los derechos de construcción en el suelo. Concebida según una visión puramente cuantitativa, constituye una reglamentación rígida que se impone como una restricción carente de sentido. Sus disfunciones y fracasos han provocado su rechazo y la aparición de una nueva tendencia: el proyecto urbano. Este concepto se nutrió de los debates teóricos sobre los centros históricos en Italia en torno a los años sesenta. Siguiendo el ejemplo de las ciudades argelinas, Annaba ha sido testigo de la aparición de varios proyectos emblemáticos en los últimos años. Para saber si el enfoque seguido es el de un proyecto urbano, en este trabajo se ha realizado una comparación de la gestión urbana entre Annaba y tres ciudades europeas. Este estudio permite redefinir las herramientas de planificación urbana existentes para poner en marcha otras más innovadoras y eficaces.

<p>As urban areas grapple with the pressing impacts of climate change, fostering community-level resilience becomes imperative. Co-production, emphasizing active stakeholder engagement, offers a pathway to robust, equitable, and inclusive adaptation strategies. This article delves into the co-production processes within neighborhood resilience planning in Houston, Texas, revealing how collaboration between communities, planners, and municipal leaders can address climate vulnerabilities and support disadvantaged groups. Through an empirical analysis of three Houston neighborhoods, the study evaluates co-production’s role in promoting neighborhood-scale adaptive capacity and reshaping power dynamics to advance equity and environmental justice. The results highlight the significance of local institutions and the necessity of municipal commitment to co-production efforts. The study contributes actionable insights on the application of co-production in neighborhood climate adaptation, emphasizing the need for direct municipal engagement to implement transformative spatial projects and rebalance governance frameworks for effective climate action.</p>

“…Numerous academics and researchers have been conducting studies to investigate the impact that advances in information technology can have on the quality of urban governance (Verhoef et al, 2021); (He et al, 2021) and (Chen & Xiao, 2022). The rapid development of information technology has a significant impact on various fields of human life, including urban governance. In the context of urban governance, information technology can be used to improve efficiency, transparency, and community participation in the decision-making process that has an impact on the quality of life of city residents. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of information technology in improving urban governance because it is important in the context of increasingly complex urban development and requires appropriate and efficient decision-making. The focus of this research is qualitative. Methods for gathering information included paying close attention and taking detailed notes, with subsequent analysis including data reduction, visualisation, and inference. The study arrived at the conclusion that the role of information technology in improving urban governance is crucial and requires special attention from the government and relevant stakeholders. By improving access and quality of information technology services, enhancing digital literacy and information technology skills, increasing community participation in urban governance, and improving data security and privacy, the application of information technology in urban governance can become more effective and efficient in improving urban governance.
