“…By reviewing the advantages and limitations of the modeling approaches available in the literature [47], we find that CGE models are among the most appropriate alternatives when it comes to evaluating energy and climate policies from a macroeconomic point of view in the medium and long term, with TIMES being the most prominent choice among the energy models.
