Perspective matters : individual and species movement in spatial context

Abstract: My PhD journey was long and challenging, but a unique and enjoyable experience. Due to immigration to Canada, there was a halt in my study. It took me some time, as a newcomer, to realize how to settle down, deal with new living conditions and do the research in the meantime.
