The purpose of this study was to synthesize the findings of previous studies on the relationship between religiosity and saving behaviour by using a meta-analysis approach. It also sought to determine the strength of the relationship, besides its direction. Eleven studies which met the five criteria and four techniques used in the study were used as samples for the meta-analytic analysis. The size of the effect in each study was then determined by Pearson’s product-moment correlations (r). To estimate the average distribution of relationship true effects, the Fisher r-to-z transformation and random-effects methods were used. The empirical evidence showed that there was a positive correlation between religiosity and saving behaviour. However, according to Guilford’s convention, the true effect size (r = 0.303) would mean that religiosity had a weak correlation with saving behaviour. It is recommended that authorities and financial institutions use the findings of this study to develop plans focused on advocating and facilitating saving behaviour among religious people.

Money management refers to the process of managing one's financial resources effectively to maintain a stable financial position. This study was conducted to determine the factors that influence money management behavior. Questionnaires are distributed among adults in Indonesia and analyzed by using IBM SPSS software. The result found that financial literacy, financial behavior, social media, parental education, and spiritual intelligence have a significant and positive influence on money management behavior. Clear insight into the importance of saving can lead to better money management behavior. The findings indicate that more efforts should be made to inculcate money management behavior among Indonesian citizens.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh Family Financial Socialization, Income, Self-control, dan Financial Attitude terhadap Saving Behavior Generasi Sandwich di Kota Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data, dilakukan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total 200 responden. Penyebaran kuisioner dilakukan secara online dan offline untuk meminimalisir misinterpretasi dari responden. Penelitian ini bersifat konklusif kasualitas dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) pada software AMOS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Family Financial Socialization, Income, Self-control, dan Financial Attitude berpengaruh positif terhadap Saving Behavior Generasi Sandwich di Kota Surabaya. Hal ini karena, sosialisasi keuangan yang baik dari orang tua dapat membentuk sikap dan perilaku keuangan yang positif, termasuk perilaku menabung. Selain itu, semakin tinggi tingkat penghasilan seseorang, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat konsumsi dan tabungannya, karena minimnya hambatan dibandingkan dengan orang berpenghasilan rendah. Seseorang dengan kontrol diri yang baik akan mampu menghindari perilaku konsumtif, menunda keinginan, menentukan skala prioritas dan berfokus pada tujuan keuangan jangka panjang. Financial Attitude berpengaruh positif terhadap saving behavior karena sikap keuangan yang baik mencerminkan kemampuan mengelola risiko dan perencanaan keuangan yang matang.
