Persistent and Recurrent Primary Hyperparathyroidism: Intraoperative Supplemental Methods, Basic Principles of Surgery, and Other Treatment Options

Abstract: Reoperative parathyroid surgery is challenging even for experienced surgeons. Cure rates are lower than primary surgery. Good anatomical and embryological knowledge is important. Preoperatively, a comprehensive surgical strategy should be planned.
