Abstract:RESUMO A persistência de dentes decíduos é uma condição comum e acomete principalmente cães de raças pequenas e miniaturas. Pode levar a diversas alterações orais, sendo indicada a extração desses dentes decíduos persistentes. Dentes inclusos são aqueles cuja erupção não ocorreu, e devem ser extraídos para evitar complicações como a formação de cistos odontogênicos.
