Persepsi Perokok Di Masyarakat Mengenai Halangan Berhenti Merokok

Abstract
 Cigarettes are one of the problems that are never resolved when it comes to proper handling. Cigarettes have become a phenomenal object in Indonesia because they are both revered and reviled, although many people are aware of the dangers of smoking, there are still many who insist on smoking. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the people of WINERU Village regarding the barriers to smoking cessation. The method used is a mixed quantitative-qualitative method with a sample of 45 participants using a convenience sampling technique. The Indonesian translation of the WHO's Tobacco Questionnaire for Surveys is used. The results obtained based on the research that the most smokers are men then the frequency of smoking is mostly every day. Furthermore, kretek cigarettes are consumed more than other types of cigarettes such as rolled cigarettes, cigars and vaping. Then the majority of smokers try to quit smoking. More sources of information are found on television than in magazines or newspapers and warnings on cigarette packages. However, if participants from television they also see cigarette advertisements that promote their products to be purchased. In addition, qualitatively, participants were prevented from quitting smoking because of the intrinsic influence of psychological problems, personal perceptions and physical symptoms. This research can provide additional information about the dangers of smoking and can encourage smokers in Wineru Village to quit smoking if they are truly committed to quitting. The government can also play an active role in reducing the prevalence of smokers. Also for cigarette companies to consider that the impact of smoking is only negative and not positive for health.

 Rokok menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang tidak pernah tuntas bila dibicarakan tentang cara penanganan yang tepat. Rokok menjadi benda fenomenal di Indonesia karena dipuja sekaligus dicerca, sekalipun banyak orang sadar bahaya rokok, masih banyak yang bersikeras merokok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Desa WINERU mengenai halangan berhenti merokok. Metode yang digunakn ini menggunakan metode mixed kuantitatof-kualitatif dengan jumlah sampel 45 partisipan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia untuk Tobacco Questionnaire for Surveys dari WHO digunakan. Hasil yang didapati berdasarkan penelitian yaitu perokok terbanyak adalah laki-laki lalu frekuensi merokok kebanyakan adalah setiap hari. Selanjutnya, jenis rokok kretek lebih banyak dikonsumsi dari pada jenis rokok lainnya seperti rokok linting, cerutu dan vape. Kemudian mayoritas perokok mencoba berhenti merokok. Untuk sumber informasi lebih banyak didapati lewat televisi daripada majalah atau koran dan peringatan pada paket rokok. Namun, jika partisipan dari televisi mereka juga melihat iklan rokok yang mempromosikan produknya agar dibeli. Selain itu, secara kualitatif, partisipan terhalang berhenti merokok juga karena pengaruh intrinsik masalah psikologis persepsi pribadi serta gejala fisik. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi tambahan informasi tentang bahaya merokok dan bisa mendorong para perokok di Desa Wineru untuk berhenti merokok jika benar-benar berkomitmen untuk berhenti. Pemerintah juga dapat berperan aktif untuk menurunkan prevalensi perokok. Juga bagi perusahaan rokok agar dapat mempertimbangkan bahwa dampak rokok itu hanya negatif dan tidak positif bagi kesehatan.
