Abstract:Permalloy (Py) films are commonly regarded as soft magnetic materials, wherein the magnetization aligns within the film plane. Our studies reveal the presence of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in Py thin films deposited on the collinear antiferromagnetic RuO2(101) surface.
