Peripheral developing odontoma: Is it so rare?

Abstract: With regard to the recent report by da Silva Rocha et al 1 on peripheral compound odontoma, we would like to make some comments. Currently, this type of developmental anomaly is inadequately defined, and none of the diagnostic designations have so far proved satisfactory.
