Perioperative variable rate intravenous insulin infusion: a quality improvement project on a vascular surgery ward

Abstract: AimsVariable rate intravenous insulin infusion (VRIII) is used perioperatively to maintain normoglycaemia in patients with diabetes who are undergoing surgery.
