Abstract:Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is characterised by increased intracranial pressure of unknown aetiology. It is usually seen among obese women who are of childbearing age. With an incidence of 0.9 per 100,000 in women of childbearing age, the incidence in obese women is as high as 19.3 per 100,000.
