“…The incidence of fever in our study, respectively 22.83%, was much higher than the one revealed by Anagnostou et al 2 and slightly smaller than that revealed by Grabe. Paradoxically, if we refer to studies by Knopf 10 and Ramaswamy 18 we notice that the incidence of febrile syndrome was higher in patients who received antibiotic prophylaxis, possibly due to an imbalance of the urinary flora associated with antibiotic administration, or to a non-specific cause of fever.…”
