Pericarditis

Abstract: Pericarditis (inflammation of the pericardium) may be caused by infectious agents, autoimmune disorders, metabolic conditions, or malignancy, or it may be a complication of drug therapy, trauma, cardiac surgery, or smallpox vaccination.
