Abstract: This article analyses two recent Baltic films, Jaak Kilmi’s The Dissidents (Sangarid, 2017, Estonia) and Romas Zabarauskas’s The Lawyer (Advokatas, 2020, Lithuania), which engage with migration, whiteness, white privilege and their intersection with gender and sexuality in countries that moved from ‘post-Soviet’, to becoming members of the European Union and realigning themselves with (Western) Europeanness.
