Abstract: The performance and temporal variation of hybrid vertical-subsurface flow constructed wetlands (VFCWs) in response to two-stage combinations of vertical up-flow (VUF) and vertical down-flow (VDF) were tested in order to treat non-point sources of pollution wastewater.
