Abstract:Purpose: Diagnosing urinary tract infections by urine culture is time-consuming during a Bacillus Calmette-Guérin treatment. Because the urine culture results take time to collect, patients are treated presumptively, or Bacillus Calmette-Guérin is discontinued before the results.
