“…To address these issues, we designed and prepared a hydrophobic monomer and synthesized a temperature- and salt-resistant weak gel system exhibiting a spatial network structure using phenolic resin as the crosslinking agent [ 16 , 17 ]. We analyzed the gel formation ability, temperature and salt resistance, injection performance, liquid flow effect, plugging performance, micropore throat migration, and plugging characteristics of the thermal- and salt-resistant gel consisting of the hydrophobic monomer [ 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 ]. The results reported herein provide a platform to achieve profile control in weak gels under conditions of high temperatures and salinity.…”
