Abstract:The domesticated silkworm Bombyx mori and Eri worm (Samia cynthia ricini) are bivoltine and multivoltine, feeding exclusively on mulberry and castor leaves, respectively. The domestication of silkworms has made them highly sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and relative humidity.
