“…Within the field of ECE, child protection training has been shown to effectively increase knowledge about mandated reporting laws and practice (i.e., the typical training program outcome of interest; Carter et al, 2006) for students in preservice education (Kenny, 2007;McKee & Dillenburger, 2012) and educators in practice who attend professional development training (Mathews et al, 2017).
