“…The focus on studying the connection between field of work, years of service, and sickness absenteeism in public administration is motivated particularly by the fact that it is possible to find, on the basis of statistical data of the National Institute for Public Health (hereinafter as: NIJZ), that the share of sickness absenteeism in public administration is considerably higher than the percentage that applies for all sickness absenteeism in Slovenia.
