Abstract: Control and safety rods & their drive mechanisms (CSRDM) and diverse safety rods & their drive mechanisms (DSRDM) are the main constituents of the two independent shutdown systems in Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) of 500 MWe.
