Performance Evaluation of Bio Concrete by Cluster and Regression Analysis for Environment Protection

Abstract: The focus of this research is to isolating and identifying bacteria that produce calcite precipitate, as well as determining whether or not these bacteria are suitable for incorporation into concrete in order to enhance the material’s strength and make the environment protection better. In order to survive the high “potential of hydrogen” of concrete, microbes that are going to be added to concrete need to be able to withstand alkali, and they also need to be able to develop endospores so that they can survive… Show more

“…Noteworthy research endeavors have extensively explored the use of diverse microorganisms like B. subtilis, BKH4 (alkaliphilic bacterium), B. pseudofirmus, Bacillus cohnii, B. alkalinitrilicus, Diaphorobacter nitroreducens, Bacillus sphaericus, and Streptococcus aureus. These microorganisms have proven effective in repairing cracks that measure less than 0.5 mm, through their targeted and specialized activities (Aguilera, et al 2015;Adzami, et al 2018;Ersan, et al 2015;Jonkers, et al 2010;Jroundi, et al 2014;Khaliq, & Ehsan, 2016;Le Metayer-Levrel, et al 1999;Perito, et al 2014;Sarkar, et al 2019;Shukla, et al 2022;Tiano, et al 1999;Wang, et al 2012).…”

“…According to researchers, neither the initial nor final setting time of concrete will be affected by biomineralisation. During the biomineralisation process, organic compounds are frequently converted into inorganic crystals, which are then utilised to heal fissures [29]. Moisture and nutrient deficiencies in cement can shorten the lifespan of bacteria.…”

“…In the world of construction, concrete is a material of primary importance. The generation of greenhouse gases is directly impacted by the massive cement production in industries [1], [2]. The ability to produce high-quality cement is adversely affected by shortages of highquality limestone.…”
