The present work demonstrates the results of a 3D numerical analysis of heat transfer and fluid flow through a fabricated aluminium wire filament, bonded mesh deployed as a regenerator surface in the Stirling engine. Here, two inline regenerator models with the same mass but different geometry were simulated by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element method (FEM). The results show that the temperature efficiency of both inline with non‐uniform and uniform wire diameters is almost equal. However, the non‐uniform diameter model is shorter and reaches the maximum thermal efficiency faster in reduced length <18$ < 18$. Also, it shows approximately 5% a greater mean thermal efficiency. In general, from this simulation, it can be seen that changes in the geometry of the heat regenerator can have a direct effect on thermal efficiency and pressure drop in the same mass. Therefore, using the inline stacked plain‐weave screen with a non‐uniform wire diameter regenerator in the powered Stirling engine is recommended due to space constraints. Small changes in the regenerator geometry lead to immense leaps in increasing a solar power plant's overall efficiency.

A mathematical model for biomechanical behavior of the aortic arch

The aortic arch plays a significant role in homeostatic mechanisms to retain blood pressure at stable balance in the cardiovascular system. Therefore, the objective is to estimate and identify cardiovascular illness imposed by the abnormal blood hemodynamic domain. In this regard, hemodynamic forces are monitored by the baroreflex of the artery wall. Therefore, these receptors quickly detect the abnormal stress magnitudes in the aortic arterial wall. The present study presents a 3D aortic arch model extracted by a Computerized tomography scan. Also, the numerical solution was carried out by ANSYS 2020 R1 in view of Fluid-Structure Interaction After that, we found wall shear stress (WSS), pressure, and velocity in the fluid domain. Also, the normal stress was analyzed to determine the aortic arch baroreflex location in the solid range. In this regard, higher WSS values are measured at the supra-aortic branches going out the aortic arch that reached 42.5 Pa. Also, higher normal stress happened at the aortic root and the supra-aortic branches and reached approximately 200 kPa at peak systole.

Dynamic modeling of body organs has become an elementary part of modern digital human modeling (DHM), where advanced biomedical models incorporate biomechanical behavior of tissues down to the cell level. While the biomechanical response of organs to impact and trauma has traditionally been considered an important aspect in developing safety related models such as for vehicle crash simulation, organ behavior is now also reflected in models used for medical purposes, such as the simulation of breathing or cardiovascular circulation. All human body cells have in vivo nonlinear viscoelastic properties. Moreover, body tissue is composed of cells wrapped in an extracellular matrix (ECM). Body tissue in vivo nonlinear viscoelastic properties depend on its function in an organ system, which directly affects the tissue viscoelasticity modulus.
