Performance comparison of solar power using quadratic boost converter with coupled inductor

Abstract: This paper proposes the performance comparison study of high step up DC to DC converter for regulating the DC interface between various micro sources and a DC to AC inverter to the electricity grid with the help of simulation software's such as PSIM and MATLAB. The proposed converter is a quadratic boost converter with the coupled inductor as a second boost converter.
