Performance comparison of OCDMA system with optical thresholding and decision thresholding using balanced detection

Abstract: In this paper, the bit error rate (BER) performance of eight user (10.7 Gb/s per user) Optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system using fiber bragg grating (FBG) encoder/decoder (E/D) is analyzed with a) optical thresholding b)optimum fixed decision thresholding and c)balanced detection.
