Performance Comparison and Evaluation of Different Multipath Routing Protocols Based on Various Scenario and Traffic Patterns for Mobile AD Hoc Networks

Abstract: A MANET is an interconnection of mobile devices by wireless links forming a dynamic topology without much physical network infrastructure such as routers, servers, access points/cables or centralized administration. The multipath routing protocols establish efficient communication within the network by discovering multiple routes between a pair of source and destination in order to have load balancing to satisfy Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. In this paper, the performance comparison and evaluation of … Show more

“…P.Periyasamy[21] presented a survey on three categories of multipath routing protocols along with their comparison. In[22] P.Periyasamy et al compare the performance of various existing routing protocols like AOMDV, OLSR and ZRP with different network scenarios. The network scenarios are created from various well known mobility models.…”

“…Analyzing minimum cost multicast trees in ad hoc networks was explained in [5]. All these multicasting and broadcasting techniques on MANET [6,22] with different routing algorithms [31] use crisp dataset and generate point estimated result, without considering real-life uncertain constraints. Here the fuzzy system is a most appropriate tool to deal with such uncertainties.…”
