Performance and Emissions of Diesel Engine with Circulation Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel System

Abstract: Diesel engine is known for its durable operation and capability of utilizing various type of fuels, however, dangerous exhaust emissions are emitted from diesel engines. Non-surfactant emulsion fuel is a potential fuel for diesel engine to reduce for Nitrogen oxides (NOx) and Particulate matter (PM) emission compare to conventional diesel fuel in a diesel engine. In this study, emulsion fuel was prepared using a mixer known as Circulation Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel System. The study carried out with differen… Show more

“…Diesel fuels have become widely used in many industries, including transportation and agricultural applications due to their high thermal efficiency 1 . Even though the diesel engine has high thermal efficiency, it emits a variety of pollutants into the atmosphere, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur (SOx), carbon oxides, particulate matter (PM), unburned hydrocarbons (HC) 2 , 3 .…”
