Performance Analysis of Thermal Storage Assisted Cooling Tower with Night Cooling

Abstract: Integrating two water storage tanks to the new cooling systems enable to use low continuous flow rate.  The new models reduce the mass flow rate to 1/3 and air mass flow rate to 0.69 of the regular models.  The water storage tank capacity can be reduced by increasing the number of tanks.  The new cooling systems provide lower condenser inlet water temperature and higher performance.
