The research proposed a clustering formation approach that ensures that the chosen cluster head (CH) in D2D communication consumes minimal energy and that the cluster members (CMs) are offered good quality of service. In addition, the study investigated various factors influencing power consumptions of User Equipment (UE) in Device to Device (D2D) Communication. Network and geographic data of the UE were collected within 200m diameter (100m radius) around the chosen base station (BS). A term Hardware Sensing Factor (a weighting factor) was formulated from the collected network data. The HSF and the distance between the UE and the base station were utilized as input data to Self Organizing Map (SOM), an unsupervised machine learning algorithm, to form clusters of the UE. A UE with highest value of HSF and minimal distance to the BS is chosen as the Cluster Head (CH) for each cluster. It was shown that the power consumption of the UE increases as the signal attenuation (which depends on distance) increases. In addition, for every transmission/reception between the Cluster Member (CM) and the BS through the CH, the CH consumes about 2.5% more than the CM. Also, in addition to the effects of signal attenuation, the power consumption of the CH is largely dependent on the number of CMs associated with the CH. Furthermore, it is more energy efficient for the CMs to communicate with the CH than communicate with the BS, especially for edge cell UE.

The cooperative device-to-device (D2D) system is becoming one of the most popular communication models in wireless 5G technology that combines the D2D system with cooperative communication to extend coverage and increase system performance. However, interference is one of the factors of decreasing service quality in cooperative D2D systems because of adjacent users/clusters and excessive power usage, which also causes interference to the receiver. Interference management, such as power control, can overcome interference problems in the cooperative D2D communication system. Therefore, this paper proposes a new form of adaptive power control (APC) based on the low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) protocol for interference management systems in cooperative D2D systems that other studies have not considered. For a fair comparison, this paper also modifies the conventional fixed power control (FPC) method using the LEACH protocol and the modified fixed power control (MFPC) used in the previous study and then considers the system without power control. The simulation results show that the proposed APC can significantly reduce interference in cooperative D2D communication compared to the MFPC and without power control. Moreover, the simulation results also show that concerning the signal-to-interference and noise ratio (SINR) to the outage probability and throughput, the proposed APC performs better than the MFPC and without power control. Thus, the proposed APC can effectively reduce interference in cooperative D2D systems.

 Abstract: Tele-health is characterized as the usage of electronic data and broadcast using telecommunication advancements to help and advance long-distance clinical medicinal services, patient and expert long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health education, public healthmonitoring and health administration. In this research, the proposed system that uses Sensors to monitor patient's health and uses internet to alert the practitioner and family members in case of emergency. It is capable of monitoring health status of the patient at home, which is at remote location also. If system identifies any parameter is beyond the normal range temperature, the health care unit gives continuous alertation about the patients' status over Internet and also shows details of heartbeat & temperature of patient continuously using the IoT.
