Performance analysis of domestic solar air heating system using V-shaped baffles – An experimental study

Abstract: An experimental study has been carried out to enhance a solar air heater’s performance by integrating artificial roughness through baffles on the absorber plate. In this paper, the thermal and energy matrices analysis of a Solar Air Heater (SAH) roughened with V up perforated baffles have been investigated. The effect of various mass flow rates on the SAH was analyzed with and without baffles. Experimental outputs like outlet air temperature, useful energy (heat) gain and thermal efficiency were evaluated to c… Show more

“…They attained daily thermal efficiencies of 53 percent, 27 percent, and 64 percent for the suggested hybrid system, respectively, at a mass flow rate of 0.02 kg/s. Experiments were performed using a SAH with Vshaped baffles over the collector plate (Rajendran et al 2021). In conclusion, they determined that the suggested system has a thermal efficiency of 13 percent, 11.97 percent, and 3.06 percent higher than the flat surface SAH for the analysed air flow rates.…”

“…The inclusion of nanoparticles could increase the strength of concrete by 15 to 20 percentages [14]. Additionally, nanosilica particles work on exhibition sludge combinations in tile creation with a decrease in water assimilation and expansion to wear [15]. The (CaOH 2 ) formed at some point in hydration to form added (C-S-H) gel.…”

“…A couple of exploration was completed to decide concrete's mechanical properties and porousness with nanosilica. Numerous analysts announced extraordinary and incongruous ideal amounts of nanosilica alongside a few strange impacts, which need a lot of fixations in additional exploration [1,[11][12][13][14][15][16][17]. The ideal amount of nanosilica should show up for every material separately.…”
