Performance Analysis of Abrasive Water Jet Cutting Process in Carbon Fiber Epoxy Polymer Composite

Abstract: Abrasive water jet machining is unconventional material removal process used to dissolve openings and cavities by the force of rough particles of the slurry on hard and materials. It is a non traditional machining process able to machine wide scope of hard to cut materials such as alloys, composite materials. This work explores the impact of different process parameters on kerf angle and amount of materials removed which are imperative execution measures in abrasive waterjet machining. The variable abrasive wa… Show more

“…Through this research, it is emphasized the challenges associated with treating proximal humeral fractures that occur in the context of osteoporosis (Potom et al, 2019; Olga et al., 2020). It collects details on how patients both at home and overseas are enduring less energy trauma and osteoporosis.…”

“…OBP1 has been linked to the perception of indole, as proven by the fact that neural responses are attenuated when the gene coding OBP1 is muted. “…As a result, it has a significant impact on how surfaces are machined. Maximum abrasive jet pressure increases material removal rate, while minimum standoff distance (SOD) reduces kerf angle in woven carbon fibre composites [32]. Figure 5(c) also shows a picture of the CFRP test coupons that were cut from the CFRP laminate with a water jet.…”
