“…All the case reports took place in University hospitals [6,7,10,11,12,13,14] apart from one case report which took place in a district hospital [15 ].The mean age of the women enrolled in the review was 35,37±7,781 SD (standard deviation), range (26-47) years. All women were premenopausal; 1 woman (12.5%) was nulligravida [14]; 3 women were reported as multigravida (37,5%) [6,13,15] . Seven women (87,5%) were asymptomatic scheduled for routine check [6,7,10,11,12,13,15]; 1 woman (12.5%) attended the clinic requesting removal of IUD due to hormone-related acne possibly elicited by LNG-IUS(levonorgestrel-intrauterine system) [14] .Three IUDs (37,5%) were LNG-IUS (levonorgestrel-intrauterine system) [12,13,14 ]; 5 IUDs (62,5%) contained copper [6,7,10,11,15]; 1 IUD (12,5%) was Lippes loop [6] and 1 IUD (12,5%) was Gynefix [11].…”
