“…Bringing sport and fitness services closer to the interests of the customers is not easy to achieve given that customers have different objectives and are increasingly more demanding (Martins and O’Neill, 2010). Furthermore, the physical activity needs and interests of the female population are not the same as those of males (Nuviala, Gómez-López, Grao-Cruces, Granero-Gallegos and Nuviala, 2013; Sit et al , 2008), therefore it is worth investigating their opinions regarding sports services and fitness centres they use, since they represent large, and increasing, number of clients (UK active, 2017).
