Perfil da violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher em um município de Minas Gerais, Brasil

Abstract: Trata-se de um estudo de análise do Boletim de Ocorrência (BO), a fim de caracterizar a violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher em um município de Minas Gerais no ano de 2011 para melhor estratégia de planejamento das ações no âmbito da saúde. Foram analisados 392 BOs dos 715 registrados no ano de 2011. Caracterizaram-se as vítimas e agressores de acordo com as informações oferecidas pelo BO. “…It is considered that the elevated quantity of this form of violence is related to the naturalizing of this practice during traditional marital relationships (17) . As can be observed, sexual violence was present in a predominant manner among married women, above all in the form of less severe abuse -as in the cases of sexual coercion which may or may not involve physical force, or in the case of practices wherein the partner is intimidated into having sex without the use of condoms -which is possibly not seen by the partners as abusive (4) .
