Abstract: Percutaneous transluminal septal myocardial ablation (PTSMA) has become a significant treatment for symptomatic patients with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) despite maximal medical therapy. The target septal arteries usually arise from the left anterior descending artery (LAD).
