Abstract: favorable characteristics, such as young age and sinus rhythm, may be 'good' candidates for PMV. On the other hand, commissural calcification, significant subvalvular affection, in the presence of other unfavorable clinical characteristics would invite early surgical intervention.Wail Nammas
