“…Through the conceptual framework, the publications of a consortium for spinal cord medicine made it possible to identify recommendations, barriers and facilitators for the implementation of these guidelines. 17 In the care for this population, a study used the PARIHS to analyze the association between the perception of evidence and the adoption of strategies to prevent infection by H1N1 flu among health workers who provided care to people with spinal cord injury. The results showed that health professionals did not consistently follow infection control practice guidelines and that this may be associated with their perceptions on the sources of evidence, as compliance was greater when the evidence was related to clinical specialists.…”
