Perceptions of Farmers Regarding the Opportunities and Obstacles in Utilizing Indigenous Fish Species within Assam's Aquaculture Industry

Abstract: Background: Assam is blessed with over 200 fish species.  The perceptions of fish farmers in  Nalbari and Barpeta districts of central Assam regarding the opportunities and challenges of utilizing indigenous fish species (IFS) for aquaculture have been discussed.
