Perception Difference on Sexually Transmitted Infections Between Domestic and Foreign Ship Crews (A Study at Merak Port of Banten)

Abstract: Crew is one component in the vulnerable community of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in the port. According to the Integrated Biological and Behavior Surveillance Survey (STBP) report in 2011 at 5 ports in Indonesia, 58% of crews were associated with Women Sex Workers (WSW) and 50% had unprotected sex.
