“…It has been posited that townships and rural areas may be subjected to worse consequences ( De Jager et al, 2015 ; Gurayah, 2015 ) due to factors such as poverty, unemployment, low educational levels, unstable income sources, socioeconomic deprivation and the lack of transportation ( Kalula & Petros, 2011 ; Visser & Moleko, 2012 ).
