Perbandingan Karakteristik Batuan Beku Erupsi Gunung Gamalama dan Gunung Talang

Abstract: Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang karakteristik batuan erupsi Gunung Gamalama dan Gunung Talang yang meliputi struktur dan komposisi kedua batuan vulkanik tersebut. Alat yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah XRD (X-Ray Diffractometer) dan XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence). Hasil uji XRD menunjukan batuan Gunung Gamalama didominasi oleh albit dan berlinit sedangkan batuan Gunung Talang didominasi oleh kristobalit dan alunit.
