Perancangan Sistem Informasi Ujian Kursus Komputer Berbasis Website

Abstract

Information technology is currently widely applied in various business fields, one of which is the informal education sector, such as course institutions. If information technology can be implemented in this field, it can provide a positive transformation to business processes, such as speeding up filing, saving operational costs, and providing greater flexibility in accessing data. The Singaparna Computer Course and Training Institute is one of the computer course institutions in the Singaparna sub-district. Based on the results of research and observations carried out at the Singaparna Computer Course and Training Institute, problems were found with the course institution's examination system, namely that the course examination process was still carried out manually using the written examination method. So research was carried out to design an examination system at the website-based Singaparna Computer Course and Training Institute. The software development method used in this research is the prototyping method, while the research method uses a qualitative approach. The results of the research conclude that designing a website-based course exam information system can be carried out and provide solutions to the problems faced by the Singaparna Computer Training course institution. After the design of the special exam application has been completed, an evaluation is carried out on the interface.
