Woman in coastal community have done a lot of activities to serve household necessities. What becomes important point of this outlook is woman contribution to household admission. The objective of this research is to analyze role of woman through their contribution to household admission. Research takes a place in Hatiwe Besar Village and Tawiri Village, Teluk District, Ambon City. Respondent is selected purposively, which results in 57 woman farmers from Tawiri Village and 55 woman farmers from Hatiwe Besar Village. Total respondent is 112 woman farmers. Data analysis is done with qualitative descriptive approach, which focuses on the use of simple tabulation to describe the data. Result of research indicates that woman participates into household affairs of coastal community by conducting two activities. One is through domestic activity by being housewife, and other is through domestic plus activity by letting herself employed to give further contribution to household admission. However, woman contribution to household income is mostly less than Public Minimum Wage (72.4 percents). Only few women (27.6 percents) give their contribution to household admission in level above Public Minimum Wage. The contribution of woman is usually utilized to pay child education cost, to consume additional foods other than the harvest, to buy clothes, to afford shelter, and to serve non-food daily necessities.
