Peptic Ulcer in Veterinary Medicine: A Mini Review

Abstract: Ulceration and discontinuity of the gastrointestinal mucosal can be a consequence of several drugs and diseases in small animals. As a result, gastroprotectant therapies are widely used in veterinary patients. Gastrointestinal ulcers can occur independently or as a complication of many systemic diseases hence have a significance importance to clinician in understand the etiological factors, pathophysiology for their effective treatment and early prophylaxis.
