People-process-performance benchmarking technique in cloud computing environment

Abstract: Purpose Cloud computing is relatively a new type of technology demanding a new method of management techniques to attain security and privacy leading to customer satisfaction regarding “Business Protection” measure. As cloud computing businesses are usually composed of multiple colocation sites/departments, the purpose of this paper is to propose a benchmark operation to measure and compare the overall integrated people-process-performance (PPP) among different departments within cloud computing organization. … Show more

“…To do so, we applied the analytic hierarchical process (AHP) method by Saaty (1980), which was developed to identify and prioritize different criteria to help in decision-making processes (Lasrado et al , 2015). Through the further application, it is now also considered as an appropriate method to prioritize determinants to build a customized model (AlJaberi et al , 2020; Alkhyeli and Ewijk, 2018; Kouatli, 2019).…”

“…However, in the VSC, only a few studies consider the application of fuzzy for problem-solving, and the application of fuzzy AHP and fuzzy MOORA methodologies in the VSC is still absent in the literature. For instance, Arabsheybani et al (2018) use fuzzy MOORA and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for sustainable supplier selection; Dorfeshan et al (2018) examine project critical path using multiple MOORA, multi-objective optimization on the basis of simple ratio analysis (MOOSRA) and technique of precise order preference (TPOP) methods; Kouatli (2019) uses the AHP in cloud computing environment; Shweta and Kumar (2021) apply the FAHP to analyze issues in the generic medicine supply chain of a pharmaceutical company of India; Akkaya et al (2015) employ hybrid FAHP-MOORA to solve industrial engineering sector problem; Luo et al (2019) use multiple MOORA for multiple criteria group decision-making and Das et al (2012) apply hybrid FAHP-MOORA for a comparative study of Indian technical education.…”
