Abstract: Copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) is an unexplored material for watersplitting reactions, and it is a well-known photocathode in dye-sensitized solar cells. For the first time, the electrochemical properties of CuSCN were investigated and used in overall water-splitting reactions.
