Abstract: The case of receiving and distributing hoax information in Indonesia is a serious problem that needs to be addressed together. This is due to the fact that hoax information can harm many parties. Even though it has a serious impact, there has not been a serious problem solving in the case of spreading this hoax information. “…The problem root can be seen from the social media user's motives in receiving and sharing the hoax information. The research that has been carried out by researchers in the previous study entitled "Test Constructs of Acceptance Attitudes and Behavior of Redistributing Hoax Information in Social Media (Arisanty et al, 2021)" has succeeded in finding the motive variable for receiving hoax information and behavioral motives for sharing hoax information according to with statistical calculations.
