The covid-19 pandemic has led to a change in learning from face-to-face to online learning; learning media has an essential role in the online learning process in understanding students to the material studied. This research aims to determine the types and characteristics of high school biological learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. This study is a Systematic Literature Review using Google Scholar and Dimensions databases. Articles that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria as research data several 29 scientific articles, including international journals, accredited national journals, and not accredited national journals, thesis, and proceedings. The results of this study indicate that there are various types of high school biology learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely visual-based learning media, audio-visual-based learning media, and computer-based learning media. Most often used during the covid-19 pandemic were hypertext media (such as google classroom) and how to use high school biology learning media during the covid-19 pandemic, which were found to be online/offline and installed/not installed. The material biology learning most widely researched is virus and the scope of biology. This study implication shows various learning media biology in senior high school during pandemic covid-19, so other researchers can develop or use other learning media on teaching and learning biology in senior high school.

The use of the lecture method in learning biology in the classroom does not provide opportunities for students to develop skills and express their opinions. Multimedia learning media is needed to increase the interest and quality of student learning. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were 44 students of MAS Subulussalam Sumberjo, Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu. The focus of this research is on students of class X MIPA-A and X MIPA-B, and the results obtained are in the form of observation data, interviews and questionnaires to determine student responses to the use of multimedia in learning biology. Indicators that are used as a reference to see student responses to the use of multimedia are learning with the lecture method, the implementation of multimedia learning in the form of animated videos, the quality of multimedia presentation, and the effect of using multimedia in the form of animated videos. In conclusion, the learning indicator using animated video media has a large percentage value compared to the number of other indicators, namely 90%, so that student reactions can be interpreted as follows: The use of multimedia is very good, because the use of multimedia makes students more active and enthusiastic in learning biology.Abstrak Penggunaan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran biologi di kelas tidak memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dan mengemukakan pendapatnya. Media pembelajaran multimedia dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan minat dan kualitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 44 siswa MAS Subulussalam Sumberjo Kecamatan Torgamba Labuhanbatu Selatan. Fokus penelitian ini pada siswa kelas X MIPA-A dan X MIPA-B, dan hasil yang diperoleh berupa data observasi, wawancara dan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan multimedia dalam pembelajaran biologi. Indikator yang dijadikan acuan untuk melihat tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan multimedia adalah pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah, pelaksanaan pembelajaran multimedia dalam bentuk video animasi, kualitas penyajian multimedia, dan pengaruh penggunaan multimedia dalam bentuk video Animasi. Kesimpulannya, indikator pembelajaran dengan media video animasi memiliki nilai persentase yang besar dibandingkan dengan jumlah indikator lainnya yaitu 90%, sehingga reaksi siswa dapat diartikan sebagai berikut: Penggunaan multimedia sangat baik, karena penggunaan multimedia membuat siswa lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam pembelajaran biologi.

To produce Augmented reality learning media products based on Discovery learning on circulatory system material, assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of Discovery learning based Augmented reality learning media products on circulatory system material in the learning process of class XI students at SMA Plus Sedayu Nusantara. This research is a Research and Development (R & D) development research with the ADDIE development model. Subjects included 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 3 students in the individual test, 9 students in the small group test, and 30 students in the limited field test. The results showed that: Augmented Reality learning media based on Discovery Learning on the circulatory system is very suitable to be used as a learning resource in learning material for the Circulatory System Class XI SMA; Discovery Learning-based Augmented Reality learning media on the circulatory system is very effective in use, testing the effectiveness of Discovery Learning-based Augmented Reality learning media products on the circulatory system fulfills the criteria of being effectively used which is shown from the results of product effectiveness testing using the t-test on different independent test tests. The average result of the assessment in the experimental class was that the average score of the learning outcomes test was higher than the average result of the control class students who did not use learning media.
